Faghayai Ogoun Contemporary Women's Fiction
Faghayai Ogoun (pronounced Fah-hi-yai Oh-goon) is the author of the new book, Chasing the Horizon. Her passion for storytelling, combined with a strong desire to help people realize their self-worth inspired a novel that will be shared in conversations about life’s struggles and self-awareness. Born in Philadelphia in 1975, her Nigerian parents, who were in the country on a student VISA, were asked to leave to Nigeria once their VISA expired. At the age of 3, she moved to Nigeria and came back to the States, specifically, Atlanta, Georgia in 1988. She attended Georiga State University, where she majored in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education.
Faghayai Ogoun currently lives in Atlanta where she is raising her three children and is focused on writing compelling novels that will tell stories of women’s lives.
